Timing

  • Only cross timing mats when completing a segment
  • DO NOT cross mats for any other reason
  • Wear timing chip/bib on chest/stomach area and keep visible at all times
  • Do not bend or crease bib/chip
  • One chip for each participant that will finish a segment
  • Soloist will have 2 bib/chips. One for shirt and one for PFD.
  • Partners will have three. The extra one for a PFD.
  • Team of 3-7 may need 3-6 Bib/chips depending on how many legs each participant completes (a team of 6 where one participant completes both the 10k and roadbike only needs 5 chips)
  • Only 1 canoeist needs a chip
  • Remove bib immediately after completing YOUR last segment and return to timer.
  • Even if your team is still competing, if you are done then return your bib.
  • Bib return stations at Riverside, City Beach and Swift Creek.
